Shasta Airflyte Interior
Here are some interior shots of our 1962 Shasta Airflyte.
We were so fortunate that the signature "S" magazine rack (above) was in great condition. I've seen plenty that were water damaged or broken.
Thankfully, reproductions are available here.
Here's a view of an Airstream and a Fan trailer out the Shasta window. It was starting to look like a vintage trailer park!
It's great that this Shasta retained its original Hehr vent and lifters (above), but as often happens, the lifters were very stiff and didn't open easily.
A great option is to replace these original vents with a new Fantastic Vent that not only looks vintage, but provides really great air flow throughout your trailer.
Shasta offered both a cold water faucet for city water (the left one in the photo above) and a hand pump to get water from a water tank.
These faucets are pretty durable, but can certainly tighten up over time.
Replacement options are available here.
